excellent location, free WiFi, close to shops and bars

The room sizes need serious reconsideration. They are cramped and do not match the online portrayal!!! Not having a kettle or glasses for a drink feels like a missed opportunity!!!

Great location and they have free wi-fi and computers (in case if you haven't laptop).

I think the price is bigger than needed for services which they provide

Excelent location and great value for the money. It is clean and staff are friendly and professional. Would definately stay at Hostal Palermo on my return trip to Barcelona. A big Thank you to the staff and management.

Busy street view, easy access to attractions.

The location it excellent, just a few steps from the Ramblas, Metro restaurants and shopping.

1. Very noisy. The walls are sooo thin you can hear walking, talking, and doors opening and closing. 2. The room was not very clean... actually, the beds were clean, but the bathroom had mold growing and the corners looked like they were never cleaned. 3. Zero charm.

My previous stays in barcelona were shorter, but this 9-night experience exceeded my expectations. The location is fantastic, and the staff was super accommodating and helpful with all my needs.

The staff was so kind, room and building always very clean. Great location, maybe the best of Barcelona, the Gothic area. Just 2 minutes Walking everywhere and very safe. We will back soon as possible!

The staff was very cooperative and the hostel is located in the heart of barcelona. I would highly recommend this place to stay for a few days in Barcelona.

Hotel Palermo is nestled just off Las Ramblas. The staff were wonderfully cute, always offering helpful tips on local attractions. My room was clean, with a reliable air-conditioning system and a secure safe for my valuables.

Stairs are quite steep.

The location is perfect.

Some rooms without private shower, we had luck to change our booking to a room with private shower. No twin bedded room

We had a great time at this hostel. It is clean, warm and traditional. Safety is a priority, and staff are professional and willing to assist. The place is right in downtown where all the action is! Cool place with a great character!

The room was small but super functional, and I loved the modern bathroom! I enjoyed relaxing on the sun terrace and catching a movie in the leisure room after a long day. The only drawback was the occasional noise from the street, but that didn’t ruin my overall experience. 😊

Bedding and towels changed daily which was not expected in a hostel but greatly appreciated

The location is central and the rooms are quiet. I got a large, triple room instead of a double which was nice too.

The room smelt heavily of chlorine cleaning product, which was unpleasant. Contrary to what was advertised the WiFi doesn't reach throughout the hotel, this is ok but please don't advertise it as such!
